BOOKINGS

Before booking, please check out the following information!

  • Each experience will take anywhere from 1.5-3 hours depending on the size of your party, the amount and type of candle created, & if you are booking an experience in our home studio, or if we will be traveling to you.

  • We can accommodate 1-6 guests at a time in our home studio, or 6-10 guests while traveling, although we do require 10 candles to be made while traveling. Home studio candle pouring experiences require no deposit, while travel experiences do require a deposit.

  • We are located in the heart of Midland, MI. Once your booking is confirmed, we will send the location of the candle pouring experience, currently located in our basement home studio! Our approximate location is shown on the map below.

  • If you would like to participate in a candle pouring experience & require handicap accessibility, book a travel party & we can come to you with ease!

  • Please understand that we require all participants to sign a waiver of liability form to ensure the safety of ourselves and for our guests. We do allow children ages 10-17 to participate in a candle pouring experience, but only with the guidance and presence of a parent or guardian.

HOME STUDIO

If you decide to book with Ivy & Glow in our home studio, please read the following below to make sure you have all of the necessary information!

  • When you book a candle pouring experience in our home studio, you will step into a world of delectable scents & endless possibilities with all the elements needed to let your creativity glow & create your own beautiful, customized, & one-of-a-kind candle.

  • Exclusive to home studio bookings, Ivy & Glow Candle Co. offers complimentary snacks and beverages for each guest! We have a variety of options available for all dietary needs.

  • While you wait for your candles to cure, you will have to chance to design your very own candle label or relax on the couch while enjoying the snacks and beverages.

  • We have a vast selection of 25 vessels & 50 fragrances available for you to choose from.

  • We are able to comfortably host up to 6 guests in our home studio during the candle making experience at this time!

TRAVEL

If you decide to have Ivy & Glow travel to you, please read the following below to make sure you have all of the necessary information!

  • We offer our travel candle pouring experience for no additional fee within 15 miles of the city of Midland!

  • If you would like to book a travel experience & are outside of our 15-mile radius, please reach out to us via email and we will be able to accommodate you for an additional travel fee.

  • We ask that all travel experiences pay a $50 deposit regardless of the number of guests or the travel distance. However, this amount will go towards the total cost of the candle pouring experience.

  • For a travel experience, we can accommodate no less than 6, but up to 10 total guests! If you have more guests, reach out to us and we can do your candle pouring experience in “shifts” if time allows. We do require at least 10 candles to be made for any travel experience, & Ivy & Glow Candle Co. reserves the right to charge the equivalent of $37.50 per extra candle. Thank you for your understanding!

  • We ask that we arrive 90 minutes before your appointment time to your establishment to properly set up our equipment & materials prior to starting your candle pouring experience.

  • Lastly, we do ask that wherever we are joining you, there is a power outlet for our wax melter & other equipment, & a large enough table & chairs to accommodate the number of guests taking part in the experience, as well as a separate spot for 2 of our 6-foot tables/area for our equipment to be set up.
